D T S p o t l i g h t!
Born and raised a mid-westerner, Lori lives in Northern Indiana with her husband of almost 19 years and their 3 children. Married to her high school sweetheart. Lori started dating her future husband when she was a senior in high school and they were married 4 years later. Their children are very active in extra-curricular activities, which keeps them very busy. "With 3 children, run-ragged is probably a better name for it, but, as a result, we have plenty of photo opportunities!", states Lori.
She began scrapbooking 6 or 7 years ago but it was not until last year that she came out of the closet and put her collecting of tools and supplies aside and started producing some magnificent layouts! Lori recalls, "Finally I decided that I had better use all of that stuff that was taking so much space in my house. My husband decided that I had better use the stuff that I had spent so much money to accumulate. Either way you look at it, there was motivation to start scrapbooking!
Now I'm hooked. It has changed my whole perspective on things and the way that I look at the world around me. Now when I look at something I think of how that would make a great layout. That's why I'm so excited about being a part of The Shaker Box Design Team. It is an opportunity to share my love for scrapbooking with you, as well as an opportunity for me to learn new tips and techniques from all of the wonderfully talented designers and members of The Shaker Box!"
Lori's fun style is sure to inspire your creativity and imagination. Her unique design eye for capturing the moment in a her photographs and the ability to emphasize that moment is really something. We are very proud she has decided to become a Design Team member of the Shaker Box!
