Spring is a time for renewal, a rebirth of our souls, a renewing of our creative spirit!!! In keeping with the zany theme of March Madness, let's challenge our creativity by thinking outside of our creative bubble and venturing into the unknown. Pick up a tool that you have never used before and start using it. Never tried embossing powders? Pick up that powder and heat gun and go for it!!! It's amazing what your imagination will come up with when you can find it in yourself to let go of your constraints. You'll really love the outcome and have a wonderful sense of accomplishment in doing so! So challenge yourself to go that extra mile.

Having Fun with Foam !!!
Foam - the squishy, soft, white stuff. Well, not exactly the same thing you've always played with but you can still find it among children's favorite items yet it's now a scrapbooker tool as well! In this informative tutorial, Lynn shares with us a few ideas on how to take this simple child's craft item and turn it into a work of art for your album pages. This is part of a new series called Shaker Box Sessions, tutorials filled with information and techniques to help inspire and, hopefully, teach you something new and different to try. A casual comment by an online friend's son earned our Featured Scrapper a nickname that is both well suited and quite permanent, it would appear - The Bird Lady. With one look at her incredible nature oriented layouts, you will understand why! The March Shaker Box Featured Scrapper is Sherry, aka sherrybaby. Her incredible photographs of her fine, feathered friends will draw you to her layouts in the gallery, but it is her heartfelt journaling that will keep you there and wanting for more. However, the members of the Shaker Box all agree that it's not just her layouts and photographs that make Sherry unique, but her cheerful personality and warm, inviting smile as well. New Shaker Box Moderators
The Shaker Box would also like to welcome a few of our members who have graciously agreed to becoming forum moderators!
Chris (chrisgr) has joined us as the Shaker Box Sketch Artist. She will be creating sketches for your inspiration, rotating in the Sunday Sketch Challenges and creating sketches for the newsletter. We look forward to being inspired by her blueprints to creativity!
Sherry (sherrybaby) will be joining the Photography Forum. She has a million ideas, tips and tricks and challenges up her sleeve and she is excited and ready to go. Sherry will be working with Karen to get that forum jump started back into high gear again. Many of you are already familiar with Shery's photography and know she will make a terrific addition to the team!
Let's give them both a Hoodie Hoo welcome!!
