Diamond Glaze by Judikins
A Product Review
This is a product that scared me at first. I had no idea what to do with it. It is now a staple in my ever-growing stack of scrapping supplies. I absolutely could not live without it.
I have used Diamond Glaze in several different ways, ranging from creating the effect of raindrops on a page, to adding dimension to a sticker that had been gathering dust, to creating a one-of-a-kind embellishment, to a rock-hard adhesive.

With Diamond Glaze, patience is the key. I usually let my Diamond Glaze projects sit overnight (up to 24 hours) to harden and become clear. When it is first applied, it almost has a milky cast to it. As it hardens, it becomes crystal clear. This makes it ideal for adhering something clear (e.g. Heidi Grace embellishments) to your artwork.
The unique applicator tip gives you a lot of control for the very intricate jobs, like creating the raindrops or filling in a portion of a sticker. For embellishments, you can take a watch face, for example, and fill it in with beads. Then, fill the remaining space in the watch face with the diamond glaze, which will seep all around the beads, hardening to a solid, clear finish. Turn it over and stick it on your page for a unique and personal embellishment.
In addition, Diamond Glaze is mixable with dye-based inks, watercolor, and pearlescent pigments.
The possibilities for a product as versatile as Diamond Glaze by Judikins are as broad as your imagination. Give it a try and let us see what you can do with it!

Featuring Shaker Member :
SHERRY BABY !

We are so happy to feature Sherry as the Shaker Box Member in the Spotlight for March. She is one of the sweetest ladies and we all have fallen in love with her layouts that include such thoughtful and insightful journaling. Sherry, (sherry baby) is also known as “the Bird Lady” and you will realize why when you take a gander through her gallery.
Working on family histories, journaling, photography and writing for a magazine led Sherry to her scrapping career, which began in 1999. After a break she decided that her photos needed much organization into albums. This decision renewed her passion for scrapping and, as they say, the rest is history.
When looking at Sherry’s layouts, one sees simple, fresh and classic lines. She loves to use autumn and heritage colors – nothing bright or overpowering. Her inspiration often comes from such simple things as a pretty day, songs, and birds around the feeders.
She feels the Shaker Box provides a variety of interesting challenges and goals. Each month she sets a goal for the number of layouts she wants to complete.
Sherry’s favorite technique is journaling and she doesn’t feel her pages are complete unless her thoughts and writings are added. Her journaling is indepth, heart-felt and very thought provoking. Her love of writing gives her great satisfaction with her journaling.
She and her husband of 28 years have a very spoiled dog, Whiner, who thinks he is there to take her two grown sons places and does a great job keeping them busy.
Sherry says her love of bird watching, writing and photography is a great combination to use in her scrapping. You can also find her in her garden and cooking. Her big love is music and you shouldn’t be surprised if you drive by and see her dancing all around her house!
Sherry leaves us with a personal quote: “Paper is the heart and journaling is the soul of scrapping.”
