I really wish you could see the background paper better in the scan - there are flies stamped and embossed clear just so they would be subtle.
This is my dh and my dog fly fishing up at our property last month.
Journaling:I asked my husband when he saw this picture – what the first word was that came to his mind – and he said “Anticipation”. It’s so true – he is like a kid in a candy store when he has a fly rod in his hand. Give him that and a good river and he is as happy as can be. He only caught one little fish on this stream but his boys got to see it and that was all that mattered to him.

Techniques used: Sanded the edges of the Alpha Stickers
Used Acrylic Paint on the Letter blocks and dry brushed the cardstock
Inked the edges of all the PP
Stamped the lighter green paper with Flies and Embossed with clear embossing poweder to make background
Stamped letters
Hand stitched around the picture
