Fiskers has some great tools! On the wavy blue piece of paper at the bottom of this LO, I used a Fisker's texture plate to create embossed wavy lines. To use the plates, all you do is place the paper face down onto the texture plate you wish to use. Tape it in place in a couple of spots. Then, using the embossing tool, firmly and evenly push and rub the back of the paper. As you rub, the texture from the plate is formed on the paper. When you are satisfied that you got the entire area, remove the tape and flip it over. You will see a pattern of raised texture. To further enhance the raised areas, you can use chalks, inks or rub-ons on the front side of the paper. The result is a more defined texture.
