Saw this idea in a magazine.. In the magazine they used 2 photos, 1 color and 1 black and white, then black matted the color photo. I thought, why waist printing 2 photos, just do 1. Just had to share it with everyone... This was all done in Paint Shop Pro... Any graphics software will work..
This is how I did it?
1. Have 2 copies of your photo. 1 in color. 1 in black and white.
2. Crop out the focal area of the color photo.
3. Add a border of your desired size. In Paint Shop I made the border 5.
4. Paste the color copy over the Black and White copy in the exact spot.
5. I made a drop shadow around mine to make the picture pop out.
* You should see this printed out.. It looks so great.. I am going to try to get this layout scrapped today.. Stay tuned. I will post it when completed.
IMPORTANT: if you need any help with this, please PM me.. Of if you have a photo you would like this done and don't have the software. I can do it for you.. FREE of CHARGE... These look GREAT!
