Journaling: (on the tag which slips out of the "Maria" library pocket) Madi Loves this photo of her cousin Maria. She giggled and said, "Maria is a monkey baby." Aunt Amy found this vintage winter hat and coat set at a local boutique. A friend gave Maria a generous gift certificate ... resulting in this fashion gem.
Fun ideas tips and tricks: I wanted to use these cool diecut letters that I had purchase but the color didn't fit the scheme of this layout. So ... I used colorbox purple pigment ink and utee (3 layers). Tossed the letters in the freezer and crackled them.

Cardstock: Bazzill - monochromatic purples 12x12 and 8x8 Scissors: EK Success cutter bee regular, honey bee Punches: EK Success - 1/2" circle - 2" circle EK Success hand punches - 1/8" circle, square, 1/4" circle Die cuts: "s", "n", and "w" are diecut letters - unsure of brand / style Stickers: Doodlebug Design Inc - mini alphablocks doodle (seaglass) Rubber Stamps: PSX & creating keepsakes special edition rubber stamp 2001 (snowflakes stamped on strip on front of the library pocket with versamark ink) Rubber stamp ink: versamark ink (mentioned above) Rubber Stampede gem dye based burgundy ink (edges) Pens: Zig writer - pure violet Colored pencils: none Computer fonts: none Lettering templates: none Creative lettering idea: 1. Use embellishments to jazz up a name by alternating an assortment of different styles. I used all metal letters however a further step could be to use an assortment of mediums to create the name of the photo subject. 2. replace a letter in the main word with an "object" - in this case a tag with snowflake in place of the O Other: embellishments used - assortment of ribbons and fibers splatter net (Jest Making Memories metal letters (random, script eyelet, another eyelet font) Making Memories circle, metal rimmed tags Making Memories snowflake eyelet charm white paper clips Making Memories mini purple colored safety pins snowflake brad square jump ring photo mounts (name? brand?) snowflake charm small and large circle paper clips winter themed, glittery, sheer ribbon "m" alphabet bead metallic accents family words "niece" (brand?) ribbon with hanging beads (bottom of library pocket) purple mini brads My own designs: noted above
