Journaling: It’s hard to believe my little boy is now an adult. Where did the time go? What happened to the blonde haired little boy that played for hours in his sand box, loved GI Joes and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and did stunts on his little 2 wheel lion bike. Nick this is your first day as an adult ~ a grown up! When I asked you this morning were you excited about being 18 you said: Why should I be? It’s not that big of deal I can now legally get a tattoo or body piercing, buy cigarettes, register for the draft, and vote. You made it through your youth without too many problems. You didn’t get the best grades, but you loved going to school. You didn’t get into major trouble or didn’t get caught. You were the happiest little kid in the world (Dad called you smiley guy), And through it all you managed to keep up your sense of humor. Our wish for you is that you are content in life, be happy with what God gives you and remember to thank him, be lucky in love (not get lucky) Dad and I were blessed to find each other, to have healthy and happy little kids like you. Get a job you truly enjoy doing and grow old enough to see your Great, Great Grandchildren. XOXOX Mom and Dad

Fun ideas tips and tricks: This was a fun layout to do. Working with the cork and all the textures stuff was great fun. This layouts screams texture!
