This was tough!! I had to walk away a couple times before I could finish it.
My dd sent me these photos. She got them from a good friend whose husband is serving in Iraq. You may have seen them on the Internet.
I wanted to use Battle Hymn of the Republic and these photos say it all.
Now that may not seem like a 4th of July song to you----but I think it should be the NUMBER ONE 4th of July song!!

I can see why this was hard for you. These are amazing pics and I am glad that you decided to complete a layout about these. We have a few friends who are serving over in Afghanistan and I cannot imagine what they face everyday. Terrific layout!

Brought tears as that song always does. AWESOME reminder why we have a 4th to celebrate. Hoping that our troops in the war zones can come home soon!
