Description:	I did this page for the ADSR. The topic was a page about a memorable trip and it had to have a song or a line of a song incorporated in the journaling, plus a one word title. My journaling reads: One day in the nineties David and I went to Paris. We left home at about 4 am and on the way to the station I was sick. On the train there were no seats for us (this was in the days before ICE trains) and I spent most of the 8 or 9 hour trip hanging over a folding chair in the aisle of the wagon. We arrived in Paris sometime in the early afternoon. We went to the hotel where my friend worked to let her know we had arrived. We left our luggage there and went to explore the city until she was off work and we could go to her place. It was very hot and my sickness was not quite over yet. During rush hour on the way back to the hotel at the time we agreed on, our metro got stuck in the tunnel, because allegedly there was a suicide attempt somewhere ahead of us. The subway was packed with commuters and we had to stand like sardines for about 1 hour in the hot and smelly metro. Sick, tired, and homeless, we finally arrived at the hotel again. With my friend and all our luggage we went on our way to her home in a far away suburb that we reached after another subway trip, a train ride and a 30 minute walk through that said suburb. We had dinner and a chat that lasted for quite some time. We were to sleep in the living room, but our hosts used to stay up late and saw no reason to go to bed at 9 o’clock just because we were tired. Finally at about midnight we were allowed to rest our heads on a folding bed and sleep. The first day was over - at last. Wow! These pics are phenomenal. Isn't it amazing that sometimes a photo DOESN'T speak a thousand words. I would never have known that you were so tired and sick . . . so great journaling!!!! Love this!

WOW !! this was awesome ! Love the black/white photos.....the scallop "paper"...the stitching...the title...the journaling and the crumbled paper were really cool !! Great LO ! Smile
