Challenge 10 -historical scrap day
Used 3 Basic Grey pattern papers.
Journaling is on a tag under bottom photo. I cut tag twice the length of the photo and folded it in half to give me plenty of room for journaling.
Journaling reads:
"Gerry and Shirley were--and still are, our best friends--for over 30 years. We missed them very much when we moved to Flirida. We were thrilled when they came from Michigan to visit. We toured the oldest city in the U.S.--St. Augustine, and made a stop at Fort Matanzas. Jerry and Shirley are in the top photo and my husband, Juergen, is in the bottom photo with them.
Built in the late 1600's to ward off enemy attacks, the fort stills stands today, now preserved by the State of Florida. It was such a delight to walk back through history with our dear friends."
