Page 3 of my POM album and also my entry for the LOAD challenge today.
Journaling:
(front) This isn't where I was born, but it is the house that holds a lot of my childhood memories. It is on the outskits of Wilmington, Illinois. "The Farmhouse"
(hidden journaling between pages)
I lived here from midway through Kindergarten until 4th grade, we moved back to Wilmington when I was in 7th grade, but not to the Farmhouse.
Val and I had a huge bedroom on the north side of the house. I could see the Amoco flare from my window.
The house had a dirt floor basement, a huge pantry, and only one bathroom. Oh, and our closet was big enough to play in!
We had a huge yard, about 5 sheds and a barn to play in/ and around. There was a chicken coop, rabbit hutches, and orchard and lots of huge trees. There was an oval shaped driveway, perfect for bike riding!
The front porch was huge, we spent a lot of time out there.
I can't forget the creepy staircase! There was a small window halfway up the stairs, and at night the trees would sway and scare me...I always ran past that window at night! But, i'd move back in tomorrow if I could!
