This is another page for my poetry album again. I found the poem in some book about Japanese lyric, it only said it was from around the year 1000.
I couldn't find a translation for it but it roughly goes:
Even though I know
that I will never meet you again
on this path
I walk it again and again and hope
it will happen nevertheless.
