Found this baby bird, watched it for a cople hours at the beach but it can't fly much yet. It can only get a few inches off the ground and tends to fall on its face when it does. I've brought it home but I don't know what kind of bird it is....anyone recognize the breed? TFL

with the beginnings of its markings and the beginning of a tuft on its head, it looks as if it is a blue jay.
