Journalling:
I remember the first time that I took a breath underwater...panic, waiting to gasp for air. Nothing, my heart was racing as I took my first gulp of oxygen...my face completely submerged, wet, eyes trying to focus. No sounds, sublime, floating...just you and I in a sea of life. So many fish, so many underwater colors...beautiful. My heart slowed, I calmed in the rolling waves. I felt like I was unravelling some secret...there under that world. Time slowed, I weaved through the wetness and remembered...I never wanted to leave.
