I made this LO after remembering how when I was 10 and my Aunts & Uncles were in their 30's....I thought they were OLD!!! LOL
Journaling: I have mixed feelings about having birthdays. I have always loved to celebrate the day I came into this world, it makes me feel super-special for a day! But,lately it is taking more effort to be satisfied with my reflection. Rearing children, less sleep, and the atmosphere in Wal-Mart have not done much for my complexion. What does a girl do to calm her worries? In my case…seek out chocolate and a bottle of wine! Or call my Mom, who always showers me with the loving words of
adoration that I need to hear! I need to call her anyway, to speak to her
regarding that chin-hair that I just discovered I inherited from her.
Seriously, after losing my Dad at age 52, I try to enjoy my days here on Earth
to the fullest. I have two beautiful children and a loving husband to take care of; and I know they need me! And to quote an Unknown Author: “Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many.”
